Chris Hall, Founding Partner & CEO, HFA and Senior Financial Advisor, RJFS attended The Ohio State University and graduated with a double major, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Marketing and Supply Chain Management and Logistics, from The Max M. Fisher College of Business. The Max M. Fisher College of Business is among the top business universities in the U.S.

He is currently involved with The Ohio State University Alumni Association Pioneer Club, both the Marietta and Mid Ohio Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Elite Sports Center, and he is a member of the Mid Ohio Valley Economic Roundtable.

Chris has been part of the industry for 19 years with an emphasis on retirement planning. Chris spends his time working with CPA’s, attorneys and bankers collectively to help clients best manage their financial affairs and achieve their goals.

Hall Financial Advisors, LLC was established in Parkersburg, WV in 1999. Chris and his team of partners, advisors and administrative staff are entrusted to manage client assets around the country with two offices, one in Parkersburg, WV and the second in Marietta, OH. As of the first quarter of 2018, the practice was responsible for $730MM assets under management.

In 2018, Chris was named the top financial advisor in West Virginia by the renowned 1Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors list as #1 in West Virginia.

Chris has been named to the prestigious 2Barron’s Top 1000 and /or 1200 Advisors for the past eight years, 2011 through 2018.

In 2017, Chris was also personally named to the respected 3Financial Times Top 400 Financial Advisors (from a list of approximately 200,000 financial advisors) from across the United States.

In addition, Chris has served and contributed to the Licensee Advisory Board (LAB) for the Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network for the past four years.

Chris enjoys spending time with family and traveling. Chris and his wife Kimberly are dedicated parents to their two children, Webb and Brynlie. Chris has been a member of St. Luke’s Church for forty years and also serves on the Finance Committee. Two areas of interest for Chris are coaching his son in Marietta Youth League Soccer for the past 10 years and he is an adamant support of the Washington County Sheriff’s War on Drugs.

32017, The FT 400 was developed in collaboration with Ignites Research, a subsidiary of the FT that provides specialized content on asset management. To qualify for the list, advisers had to have 10 years of experience and at least $300 million in assets under management (AUM) and no more than 60% of the AUM with institutional clients. The FT reaches out to some of the largest brokerages in the U.S. and asks them to provide a list of advisors who meet the minimum criteria outlined above. These advisors are then invited to apply for the ranking. Only advisors who submit an online application can be considered for the ranking. 2017: roughly 790 applications received; 50.6% (400) were selected for the final list. The 400 qualified advisers were then scored on six attributes: AUM, AUM growth rate, compliance record, years of experience, industry certifications, and online accessibility. AUM is the top factor, accounting for roughly 60-70 percent of the applicant’s score.
