Brennan McKean, a Retirement Plan Specialist, joined Hall Financial Advisors in May 2022. He helps clients navigate the complexities of retirement planning and works closely with employers and individuals to develop thoughtful strategies aligned with their long-term goals. Brennan is an important member of the retirement planning team at HFA.
In June 2024, Brennan earned his designation as a Nonqualified Plan Consultant (NQPC) from the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA), further strengthening his expertise in retirement plan consulting.
He was born in Meadville, PA, and grew up in Wooster, OH, where he attended Northwestern High School. Brennan came to Marietta to attend Marietta College, where he was a member of the men’s basketball team. He graduated in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Management.
Retirement Plan Specialist: Commitment to Marietta's Community
Brennan spent six years coaching college basketball, including one year at Defiance College and five years at Marietta College as an assistant coach. During his final season at Marietta, the men’s basketball team recorded its best season ever (29-3) and earned a trip to the Final Four for the first time in school history.
He lives in Marietta with his wife, Whitnie, a Mid-Ohio Valley native and Practice Management Supervisor for Marietta Memorial Hospital, and their daughter, Layla, who was born in January 2024. Becoming a father has added a new layer of meaning to Brennan’s work and the responsibility he feels in serving families and business owners.
Outside of work, he enjoys attending sporting events, golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family.
