Wealth Management Services
Advisory Services
Because our business is providing advice and implementing ideas, not selling products, we prefer the benefits of all-inclusive, competitive advisory fee-based investing. While Hall Financial Advisors offers traditional brokerage accounts, we also offer financial planning and wealth management services and access to some of the nation’s well-known, professional money managers through advisory fee-based compensation arrangements. We consider this approach more objective because our compensation is tied to the long-term success of your portfolio. This cost-effective program is designed to help you achieve your financial goals.
Advisory programs may not be appropriate for all clients.
In a fee-based account clients pay a quarterly fee, based on the level of assets in the account, for the services of a financial advisor as part of an advisory relationship. In deciding to pay a fee rather than commissions, clients should understand that the fee may be higher than a commission alternative during periods of lower trading. Advisory fees are in addition to the internal expenses charged by mutual funds and other investment company securities. To the extent that clients intend to hold these securities, the internal expenses should be included when evaluating the costs of a fee-based account. Clients should periodically re-evaluate whether the use of an asset-based fee continues to be appropriate in servicing their needs. A list of additional considerations, as well as the fee schedule, is available in the firm’s Form ADV Part II as well as the client agreement.
Retirement Planning Services
If you’re like most people, securing a comfortable retirement is near the top of your financial wish list. Whether you’re an individual seeking to achieve tax-deferred growth or a business owner wishing to offer employees an attractive benefit without jeopardizing the company’s bottom line, Hall Financial Advisors can help you navigate the complex choices available to you, including:
- IRAs
- Roth IRAs
- SIMPLE IRAs
- 401(k) plans
- SEPs
- Defined-contribution and defined-benefit plans
We can provide you with the advice you need to help design the plan most appropriate for your individual or corporate objectives. Once your plan is established, we will help you implement it in an attempt to reach its fullest potential.
Equity Investments
Hall Financial Advisors assists clients in trading common and preferred stocks listed on the major exchanges which include the New York Stock Exchanges and Nasdaq. As an independently-owned business, we believe our circumstances provide the best of both worlds: access to distinguished resources, with no obligation to favor one investment product or service over another. Mr. Hall pursues what he believes are the best investment opportunities for each client by studying diversified sources of information, including recommendations from several prestigious Wall Street firms such as Standard & Poor’s and Dorsey Wright (technical analysis). Our access to varied research allows us to form opinions and build a plan independent of proprietary investment products.
Stocks offer long-term growth potential, but may fluctuate more and provide less current income than other investments. An investment in the stock market should be made with an understanding of the risks associated with common stocks, including market fluctuations. Investing involves risk and you may incur a profit or loss regardless of strategy selected.
Fixed Income
If you are looking for investments with the potential to generate income, Hall Financial Advisors offers a disciplined strategy and wealth management services. We specialize in building investment strategies consisting of U.S. Treasury, government agency, zero-coupon and corporate bonds of staggered maturities, as well as tax-efficient municipal bonds and FDIC-insured certificates of deposit.
The FDIC standard maximum deposit insurance amount per depositor per insured depository institution for each account ownership category is $250,000.
Yields and market value will fluctuate so that your investment, if sold prior to maturity, may be worth more or less than its original cost. Bond prices fluctuate inversely to changes in interest rates. Therefore, a general rise in interest rates can result in the decline of the value of your investment.
Estate Planning Strategies
Through our affiliates, Hall Financial Advisors works with families to find the most appropriate estate-planning strategies for their situation, including the use of lifetime gifts and trusts to potentially reduce estate-tax liability. We understand the sensitive nature of this topic, and can assist in reviewing or helping you develop a plan that simplifies the transfer of your estate to family members. In an effort to ensure comprehensive and seamless execution of your investment strategy and future legacy, we consult with your other professional advisors, including attorneys, insurance professionals and CPAs, as needed. By encouraging all of your advisors to work together as a team, we are best able to identify opportunities and help to avoid strategic mistakes. The steps you take today to review your will and estate documents with your professional advisors could help to protect your heirs from substantial delays, fees and taxes.
Trusts
Through our professional relationships, Hall Financial Advisors can offer individuals who seek to establish a trust an alternative to appointing themselves, friends or family members as trustees, and can therefore address trust needs with a high degree of impartiality. Additionally, if you choose to invest trust assets through us, you may benefit from reduced trust management and administration fees. We can assist you with a broad range of cost-effective wealth management services and trust strategies, including living, testamentary, life insurance and charitable trusts.
Raymond James and its advisors do not offer tax or legal advice. You should discuss any tax or legal matters with the appropriate professional.

Education Planning
Paying for college has never been easy, particularly for families with competing financial goals. Hall Financial Advisors can show you how to help a child or grandchild afford college by using qualified state tuition programs, also called 529 college savings plans. A 529 plan enables you to invest funds on a tax-deferred basis, and still maintain control of withdrawals for the life of the account. Please consider the investment objectives, risks, charges and expenses carefully before investing in a 529 savings plan. The official statement, which contains this and other information, can be obtained from us. Read it carefully before you invest.
As with other investments, there are generally fees and expenses associated with participation in a 529 plan. There is also a risk that these plans may lose money or not perform well enough to cover college costs as anticipated. Most states offer their own 529 programs, which may provide advantages and benefits exclusively for their residents. The tax implications can vary significantly from state to state.

1 The 2024 Forbes ranking of America’s Top Wealth Management Teams Best-In-State, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data. This ranking is based upon the period from 3/31/2022 to 3/31/2023 and was released on 01/09/2024. Advisor teams that are considered must have one advisor with a minimum of seven years of experience, have been in existence as a team for at least one year, have at least 5 team members, and have been nominated by their firm. The algorithm weights factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients. Portfolio performance is not a criteria due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Out of approximately 10,100 team nominations, 4,100 advisor teams received the award based on thresholds. This ranking is not indicative of an advisor's future performance, is not an endorsement, and may not be representative of individual clients' experience. Neither Raymond James nor any of its Financial Advisors or RIA firms pay a fee in exchange for this award/rating. Raymond James is not affiliated with Forbes or Shook Research, LLC.
