Rob Beardmore, a financial investment planner, joined Hall Financial Advisors in the summer of 2016 and was named partner in December 2024. He received his bachelor’s degree in Geology from Marietta College, where he also minored in Petroleum Engineering and Environmental Science.
Prior to his tenure with Hall, Rob worked in the oil and gas industry for 16 years, overseeing various engineering and management projects for Halliburton, Triad, Chesapeake, and other publicly traded companies.
Transition to Financial Investment Planner
He transitioned into the financial sector so he could combine his oil and gas expertise along with his passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals. Rob works extensively with the other Advisors in the office in all aspects of the investment planning process to help clients achieve their specific goals.
Rob holds his Series 7 and Series 66 securities registrations. He is also licensed to engage in the business of insurance, specifically Resident Major Lines in Accident & Health, and Life insurance.
Marietta Financial Investment Planner
Rob's journey began in Phoenix, Arizona, where his family played a pivotal role in one of the leading copper foil manufacturing plants. At the age of 16, they made the significant move to Marietta, Ohio, drawn by the desire to be closer to family and friends in the region.
Now settled in Marietta, Rob finds immense joy in spending quality time with his wife, Jana, and their son, Isaac. Jana serves as a dedicated Nurse Practitioner at Memorial Health System's Wound Care Center. Together, they savor the pleasures of travel with their loved ones. An outdoors enthusiast, Rob passionately engages in hunting, fishing, golfing, and boating.
Despite Marietta being his official home, Rob's Arizona roots remain evident through his extensive cowboy boot collection and frequent journeys out west to reconnect with family and friends.
Financial Investment Planner: Community Involvement
He is involved in several social organizations for both profit and non-profit in and around the region. Among these are SOOGA (Southeastern Ohio Oil and Gas Association), OOGA (Ohio Oil and Gas Association), SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers), Harmar Lodge 390 F&AM, Marietta Shrine Club, Moose Lodge 1823, American Legion Post 64, Marietta Country Club, the Marietta Boat Club, and Marietta Area Chamber of Commerce (MCAA) Board of Directors. Rob, Jana, and Isaac attend The Journey Church of Marietta.
