Christopher Hall, Senior Financial Advisor with Raymond James and Founding Partner & CEO of Hall Financial Advisors, located at 1101 Rosemar Rd, Parkersburg, WV, was among the Raymond James-affiliated advisors named to the Forbes list of Best-In-State Wealth Advisors. The list, which recognizes advisors from national, regional and independent firms, was released online April 4, 2023.
Hall, who has received this award in previous years had this to say about his achievement this year,
“There are some truly great advisors in the state of West Virginia from the larger towns of Charleston, Huntington and Morgantown which makes this listing very competitive, and we are extremely proud to be at the top of this prestigious ranking representing not just Parkersburg but our Mid Ohio Valley.”
Forbes’ Top Wealth Advisors Best-In-State 2023 ranking, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data. This ranking is based upon the period from 6/30/2021 to 6/30/2022.
Those advisors who are considered have a minimum of seven years of experience, and the algorithm weights factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those who encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients.
Portfolio performance is not a criteria due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Out of approximately 39,007 nominations, 7,321 advisors received the award. Hall, who joined Raymond James in 2021, has more than 23 years of experience in the financial services industry and attributes much of his success to the team that surrounds him each day. He offered the following statement in conclusion,
“This is a selfless organization, and it may be my name on at the top of this list but it’s our award. It's important for me to remember that in 1999 I had zero clients and now some twenty-four years later that has evolved into a rather large number of families, and I can’t do that alone. The work ethic and moral compass of this business that began when it was just me has grown to include a team of great people surrounding me, making it easy to continuously deliver on this client centric approach that’s rooted in taking care of each client in the right way…and if that yields top advisor spots for us, that’s great, but that’s not the motivation. We— myself nor the members of this team—do not set a goal each year to try to be at the top of this list. Our goals are focused on the principles of serving our clients and doing the very best we can to take care of their needs from the first meeting and over the duration of our relationship with them. The last few years have been extremely difficult with what happened during COVID and the aftermath of that period in our history. To prevail in these times makes this achievement extra special. It’s nice that our focus on our clients and the level of service we strive to deliver results in being recognized on a national level, but again, the awards aren’t the goal."
